ApplyOrNot Terms and Conditions

These terms describe the rules for using ApplyOrNot. They are a practical starter draft for the MVP and should be reviewed by counsel before launch if you intend to operate as a commercial SaaS product.

Informational tool only

  • ApplyOrNot provides a practical job-application recommendation based on the information you submit.
  • The service is not a law firm, immigration advisor, or substitute for legal advice.
  • You are responsible for reviewing all job and visa decisions with your own judgment and, if needed, a qualified professional.

Acceptable use

  • Do not submit content you do not have the right to use.
  • Do not attempt to abuse, scrape, or overload the service.
  • Do not use the service for unlawful purposes or to misrepresent your work authorization status.

Usage limits and service changes

  • The product may enforce free scan limits or other usage caps.
  • We may change features, pricing previews, or supported sites as the product evolves.
  • Service availability is provided on a best-effort basis and may be interrupted for maintenance or provider issues.

Payments and upgrades

  • The MVP may display upgrade or pay-per-scan options in the interface.
  • Payment processing is not part of this starter legal text and may be added later with a separate terms update.
  • If payment features launch, those terms will be updated to describe billing, renewal, refunds, and cancellation.

Intellectual property

  • The ApplyOrNot name, branding, product design, and software are owned by their respective owners.
  • You retain rights to the resume and job description content you submit.
  • You grant us the limited right to process that content only as needed to provide the service.

Liability and termination

  • We are not liable for outcomes that result from applying or not applying to a job based on the service output.
  • We may suspend or terminate access if we detect abuse, fraud, or conduct that threatens the service.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind.
